Valentine's Day Isn't Just For Women

12. February 2011 by Christy 0 Comments

While Valentine's Day is geared more towards women then men, it is customary for ladies to show their love and appreciation as well. Here are 3 things you can do to make the romantic holiday a special day for your gentleman.

Write Him a Love Note

Why not try expressing your feelings in words? While it may be difficult to share such tender emotions, few things are more romantic than a heartfelt love letter or poem from someone special. You don’t have to craft the perfect verse or write a letter worthy of publication. Just share your thoughts in an honest and open way. Your gentleman is sure to appreciate your efforts and be moved by your sentiments. If you're not comfortable writing in English pen something in Russian. He'll find a way to decipher it's meaning.

Thank Him for His Gift

When thanking a gentlemen for a special gift like an e-card, flowers, or candy, why not take things a step further by sending him a photo of you enjoying his present or sending him a gift of your own (for couples who have completed the Intimacy Request and exchanged mailing addresses). If you havent' reached this level yet then simply expressing your sincere thanks for a nice gift can make all the difference in the world as no man wants to feel a lady is taking his gifts for granted.

Arrange a Video Chat Dates

Another great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your Western sweetheart is to meet up for a video chat date. Live video streaming is an excellent way to get to know your gentleman on a more intimate level as you can chat with a him in real time and let him see you smile and laugh. A pre-arranged date will also give the two of you something to look forward to and your gentleman will be thrilled to know you want to spend time with him (in any form) on this special day.

While it’s certainly difficult to be away from a significant other on Valentine’s Day, the distance doesn’t have to ruin the holiday. Scheduling a video date, writing a love letter or poem, and expressing thanks for a gift are just three things you can do to make this Valentine’s Day one to remember.
